I had the pleasure of staying at travellers palms this month. Might I add this is not the first time I stayed at this wonderful hotel. I was very impressed with the room. The place was immaculately clean. The kitchen was well equipped with all utensils needed including a coffee maker, wine glasses and even a proper wine opener.

As a woman I was quite pleased and pleasantly surprised at the big walk in closet and big spacious bathroom area with adequate mirrors. The living and eating area is nicely put away and spacious. But I was a little disappointed with the selection of television channels.



The general ambiance of the hotel is quite lovely with trees and some flowers growing on the grounds. I was able to enjoy breakfast every morning on the balcony overlooking the pool. I was even able to get a couple pictures of a few visiting birds in the trees and on the balcony.

I also found the restaurant and bar on the compound a fabulous idea. I enjoyed Bajan style fish and chips. I just wished that the restaurant would open for like breakfast and on Sundays when food places are hard to find open in Barbados. I also think that including a menu and price list in each room will be an excellent way to market the restaurant.

In all my experience at Traveller's Palms was great the general location is ideal for a peaceful rest and getaway. I will certainly be visiting here again for some r & r.
